Crusaders fall 52-13 in Jacksonville

The North Greenville Crusaders met their match in the Jacksonville University Dolphins, losing 52-13.
Despite good outings by Travis Talbert, sophomore business administration, who had nine receptions for 122 yards, and senior linebacker Isaac Tate, business administration, who lead the defense with 11 tackles, the Crusaders couldn't compete with the Dolphins.
Lead by senior running back Chad Davis, who rushed for 137 yards on 16 carries, the Dolphins scored early in the ball game, building up a lead that proved fatal for the Crusaders.
North Greenville falls to 2-7 on the season with this loss. The Crusaders travel to Athens, WV Nov. 5 to play Concord College.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. The Crusaders end their regular season at home Nov. 12, against Allen University.
