There is a different process for the exam schedule this year. Students are now required to retrieve an exam pass. This is a pass with which students will be permitted to take their final exams.
"We are doing this so students can clear up holds and grades won't be held," said Billy Watson, director of Student Services. This system has been used in the past for only students that had holds. "Now, we just require all students to get them, even if they don't have holds," Watson said.
Some of the holds consist of library fines, parking tickets and student service charges. Students need to present their pass and picture ID at time of exam. If the pass is lost, a new one can be purchased for $10.
If a student misses an exam because he or she does not have the pass, the absence will not be excused. Students also may not borrow another student's pass. Each exam pass will have student's name printed, not hand-written.
The pass pickup times will be Monday, Nov. 28, 1 p.m.- 5 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 29, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.;Wednesday, Nov. 30, 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.; Thursday, Dec., 1 - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The exam passes are not linked to the completion of the student evaluations.
