Don Andrews resigned from his position as Food Service Director of Aramark at North Greenville over the Christmas break. He had worked in the dining hall for six years.
Andrews stated that his reasons for leaving were "for health reasons and job related stress."

Andrews' position as food service director has now been taken over by Terrance Dromm; former location manager at Clemson University. Dromm said he's "excited to be here and looks forward to serving North Greenville students with good food."

While he was employed at NGU, Andrews claimed to have a "great experience serving with great people."

"It was never a bother having to come to work," said Andrews. "North Greenville has some of the best students compared to other colleges."

"If I had a problem, he was someone who I could turn to when I couldn't turn to a fellow student" said Jacob Kutt, sophomore history. "While working at the football stadium, he would give drinks to workers."

One of Andrews's favorite moments here at NGU was when "the new dinning hall was opening and students were coming in and asking how they could help."

"We've come along way in food service from where we came from, to where we are now," said Andrews.

He was a "good representative of the Christian faith," said Brian Hickey, food production manager.

"When a problem occurred at work, Andrews would simply smile and say 'Don't worry, buddy, we'll just deal with it.' Don was a great man to come to, whatever the problem may have been. We may never know the full impact that he has had on this campus," said Kutt. "He has been a valuable asset to the student body, and we'll miss him greatly."

"We have goals to make our dining services the best we can and to help North Greenville University go where we're headed," said Dromm.
