Every person deals with different temptations. Those without money may steal. Those without cause may lie. Those without sexual satisfaction may look at pornography.
Pornography is a $57 billion industry worldwide. There are 372 million pornographic pages that can be accessed on the Internet, according to Family Safe Media ().

"I know I struggled with it during my high school/adolescent stage. It was an addiction that I fought with every day. I was trying to conquer my sexual desires through something the world says is acceptable," said Andy Hansen, sophomore psychology. "Though it is no longer a daily struggle, it is something that I must ask God to sustain me from. I understand now that only God can fight these battles. Through God's strength, temptations, especially pornography, can be defeated, but only if we maintain a daily relationship with Him."

"The reason so many people struggle with porn and can't kick it, even on a Christian campus, is mostly because they don't realize that so many others are struggling the same way. The first step towards healing is hearing someone say, 'You struggle with that? Hey, me too,'" said Daniel Cannone, senior biology.

The XXXchurch (
) is an online community that reaches out to those individuals who have trouble with pornography.

"XXXchurch exists to bring awareness, openness, accountability and recovery to the church, society and individuals in the issues of pornography and to begin to provide solutions through non-judgmental and creative means.

"XXXchurch is here to make you think, to react and to decide where you stand on the issues of porn. We're not here to sling mud, but to shove the envelope and try to do some good," according to www.xxxchurch.com.

XXXchurch also provides X3watch, free accountability software, that can be downloaded from their web site.
