E.B. White's classic children's book comes to life in this highly anticipated family feature. It's a story of loyalty, trust and sacrifice. Dakota Fanning (
War of the Worlds) plays Fern, a child who adores Wilbur the pig and sees him as a special animal while she raises him. Wilbur then begins a separate friendship with a spider named Charlotte, voiced by Julia Roberts (
Ocean's Twelve). It becomes known that Wilbur's life is ending quicker than they think and only a miracle will save him. Charlotte then begins to spin words in her web to convince the farmer, and others, that Wilbur is something special.
