Time is constantly going, and continually passing by. When we look at our watches, cell phones or clocks, they tells us a certain time, but when we look again it tells us something different and we can see that some time has passed. We have all heard the expression of how time flies and it's true. It's already a new year and a new semester; with it comes new classes and new challenges of life. Last semester I found myself having trouble staying focused on my work, and other important things as well. So this semester, I wanted to experiment with different methods of how I might keep focused and use my time in order to do school work and other important activities.
As I began my experiment, I made a vow to not log on to MySpace or Facebook for a month. In doing so, I have found out that I am capable of focusing on my work and other things much better than I did before. I am becoming much more organized and my time is being used wisely. I can now do things that need to be done, instead of spending time in front of the computer screen.
One other thing that I have limited myself in doing this semester, as I continue to experiment, is watching television. As I cut down my TV time, I no longer have to concern myself of what is being aired on television during my free time and breaks between classes. Since I am an individual who doesn't like to waste time, I can now use my time in a way that I feel is being more productive.
After all, time is a precious gift that God has given to each and every person that is living on the face of the Earth. Some are given more time than others, but since we do not have the knowledge of how much time we are going to be given, I believe that it should be used wisely. So no matter where I go or what I am trying to accomplish in life, I will always try to keep in mind that I should make the most out of my time.
