After about three years of planning and organizing that began in 2003, the T. Walter Brashier Graduate School received accreditation a little over a year ago in December 2005. Having received accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Graduate School started classes for the first time in the spring semester of 2006. Already growth is evident in both the masters programs in the school. In about one year, the enrollment in the graduate school has increased by about 30 percent. While last year around 59 students enrolled, this year 92 students have enrolled. Each semester has brought more students. One of the biggest changes since starting has been renovating for the installation of LCD monitors.

"We offer first-rate, practical, advanced training for ministry in the Master of Christian Ministry (MCM). Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) is the only Christ-centered MBA program we know anything about," said Dr. J. Samuel Isgett, Vice President and Dean for Graduate Studies.

Everyone connected with the school is involved in recruiting students, including North Greenville faculty. Tawana Scott, Director of Graduate Enrollment in December, has the full-time job of recruiting and enrolling students.

The graduate school is located on the Fairview Campus of North Greenville University in Greer. Students must hold a bachelor's degree and meet the admission standards published in the Graduate Bulletin. Occasionally, a student may begin prior to graduation if the graduate course taken is not used to meet an undergraduate requirement.
