The men's basketball team played last Tuesday, Feb. 20, at home for their senior night. They won against Lincoln Memorial University, 93-90. This victory was a great way to end the season for the four seniors P.J. Schumacher, senior sport management, Josh Burgess, senior sport management, Jordan Richmond, senior business administration, and Amonzo Gantt, senior business administration.
"Playing the last home game in Hayes Gymnasium was emotional, but in a very positive way. These four years have come and gone so fast it's almost hard to believe my career as a Crusader is coming to an end. Our fans are great, the school support is tremendous and I wouldn't trade any of the many experiences I've had playing in our gym," Schumacher said. He also added, " No matter who we match up in the Regional, we have one thing in mind and that is to be playing in Indiana for the National Championship."
The Crusaders have a break before their next game on Monday, March 5 at the NCCAA South Regional Tournament.
