Lady Crusaders participate in post season tournaments

The Lady Crusaders have been very busy this past week. They competed in the South Regional Championship and the All-Stars Independent Classic hosted by Converse College.
The girls started the week off playing Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Emmanuel College against Southern Wesleyan for the South Regional Championship. They lost in a close game with the final score being 70-72.
Amanda Milner, junior psychology, and Eboni Davis, freshman biology, were named on the All-South Region Tournament Team. Robin Warner, junior marketing, led the team with 15 points, followed closely by Nikki Wood, freshman interdisciplinary studies, and Audrey Toscano, junior international business, who each had 12 points.
They went on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23-24, to play in Converse's All-Stars Independent Classic. The girls went on to beat Chowan College 87-74 on Friday. Davis had the game high of 24 points. On Saturday, they played Columbia Union and defeated them easily 84-69. The team will move on the NCCAA National Tournament on March 8.
