The world is in turmoil. People are bored, doing the same thing over and over again, playing the same old lame games. Gamers are falling left and right. But, amid the agony and anguish of a boring spring break, the fate of the universe rests in the hands of one gamer, and I spent my spring break playing the best Star Wars game ever made: Lego Star Wars II for the Xbox.

This game is honestly one of the best I have ever played. It is easy enough for me and my younger siblings to play at the same time, but it's hard enough to keep the interest of an avid gamer such as myself.

Some of the levels require a high level of skill to reach all of the secret areas and the many "minikits" strewn throughout every level. The free play mode makes the replay value of the levels even more fun. In free play, you have the ability to play as some of the extra characters that you can buy in the Mos Eisly cantina, which serves as the main hub where you can start the levels over, buy extras and create your own character. Yes, you can create your own Lego character using pieces from some of the characters already in the game, and even some extra pieces not in the game. You can even put Yoda in Princess Leia's slave costume.

The other reason that this game makes my top 10 is the replay value. There are so many extras and unlockables that you will be playing this game over and over again. I've spent a total of 114 hours on this game and I haven't even finished it, and the great thing is in the cantina you can go to the "counter" and check on your progress. Of course, there are many other things you could do in the cantina, like spend your hard-earned studs (the currency of the Lego Star Wars universe) on characters and extras you've unlocked in the 18 main levels, or you could start a bar fight with the various characters that are walking around inside the cantina.

Overall, this game is amazing. There were many times when I found myself shouting "Fear the ownage" at the top of my lungs when I finished a level. The gameplay is amazing. The replay is amazing. If you like Star Wars or Legos, or both, then this game is for you.
