NGU will host the semi-annual Etiquette Dinner on April 11 and 12. The dinner will start at 5 p.m. and is expected to last approximately two hours.
"The goal is to help with professionalism," said Chris Haines, Career Services Coordinator. The dinner will focus on three main topics: language, table etiquette, and appearance.
With any job you will need to know how to present the language to potential job employers.
"Language is mainly how you present the words during interviews and professional dinner meetings," said Haines.
Teaching table etiquette helps students understand the proper way of eating with the right utensils, along with proper table manners.
Appearance will deal with hairstyles and dressing for interviews and business dinners with a limited budget.
Among those presenting the topics will be NGU faculty Lisa Van Riper and William Warren.
If students are interested in signing up for the dinner, please contact Chris Haines at least a week before the dinner.
