Learning a lesson from Juno

The movie follows Juno's pregnancy, her struggles with relationships and her wonder of whether two people can truly love each other forever.
During the movie, Juno told her father, Mac MacGuff, her doubts about humanity after a bad encounter with the adoptive parents, "I just need to know if it's possible for two people to stay happy together forever, or at least for a few years."
Her Dad answered, "Look, in my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what-have-you … That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with."
That scene was my favorite part of the movie. It reminded me of God's love for me.
I am a Christian, and I have been for the majority of my life. Often times, life gets in the way.
Sometimes though, little things such as the scene from Juno remind me of how truly amazing the Almighty is.
Going through the day, I forget it, and I am thankful that He brings things to my mind so that I will remember.
God does all those things MacGuff describes: He loves us for who we are, not what we do or how we act.
Malachi 3:6 said, "For I am the Lord, I do not change."
Humans change; it's inevitable, but there is someone who is constant and will be to the end, God.
He will never leave us or forsake us; He is the kind of person, better yet God, everyone should stick with, as MacGuff said.
