Want to go to a fun and reasonable dinner theater with the family? Then Flat Rock Cinema in Flat Rock, North Carolina is the place to go. They have your favorite films and food.
Inside, there is a concession stand that has anything you would find in a regular movie theater, such as popcorn, candy, or drinks, but they also include nachos, hotdogs, cheeseburgers, quesadillas, sandwiches, coffee, tea and a their specialty, a Godiva dark chocolate iced mocha. All of these goodies are $5.50 and under.
But if you do not have any extra money to buy goodies, then bring some. Flat Rock permits customers to bring food and drink. They say, "You don't need to sneak your snacks and drinks in here."
Of course, you might have some money to spend on snacks when the movie ticket is only five dollars, no matter the age or the movie.
The movies play at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and the last show is at 7 p.m. (sometimes this depends on the movie).
They show a movie for seven to eight days and then switch to a new one.
Some of their movies have been in theaters a while. So, if you missed the film's debut, you may catch it in Flat Rock.
The movie theater is in a back room with the projector in the wall that projects on to a screen at the front so that you can eat as you watch the movie.
Between the comfortable theater seats is a small table so you aren't stuck holding your drinks and popcorn during the show.
They also have concessions going on all throughout the movie and even when you leave.
Flat Rock Cinema is an inexpensive place to go and watch a movie with friends or a loved one and have a wonderful time.
