Intramurals to crown new champions tonight

Intramural basketball and Ultimate Frisbee moved into the playoffs this week. The championship games for each league will be played later today.
The Scrubs finished atop the Frisbee standings and took on the Dirty Pirates on Monday. Easy Street and B Team also played on Monday for the right to advance to the championship game today at 4:00 at the intramural field.
Easy Street brushed by B Team for the win. B Team did not go down without a fight, closing the score from 7-2 to the final score 8-6. The Scrubs defeated the Dirty Pirates 11-2. Easy Street and Scrubs will play today for the championship at 4 on the intramural field.
In men's basketball, X was the number one seed in the A League and took on the Scrubs Monday night. After the X-Scrubs game, Size, the number two seed, battled Gooch. The championship game is at 10:30 tonight in Hayes Gymnasium and will feature the winner of the two Monday games.
In the B League, the MacGyvers finished the regular season in first place and played Bragg on Monday. B Team took on Hogan's Heroes for the other spot in the championship game tonight at 10.
The Bus Drivers topped the Women's League and challenged Bottom Simpson in the first round of the playoffs. Blaze and the Foxy Browns were the second and third seeds and played each other Monday night. The winners of each game will meet at 9:30 tonight in Hayes Gymnasium to determine the champion.
