Why is it that the things that are always good for you either taste nasty, or sound severely unappetizing? Ah- such is life. Once you learn to push away your first impression of what it means to take Fish Oils, you can begin to actually take them without gagging at the mere thought of what "fish oil" is exactly.

Despite the sticky name, Fish Oils actually do a lot of good. Taking the recommended dosage, about 900 mg, can: help your body maintain healthy cholesterol levels, support healthy blood pressure levels, promote joint health, support healthy skin, and maintain: brain, eye, and nervous system health. Fish oils also help the body burn stored fat around the mid-section by lowering the body's cortisol level. That is quite a wide variety of benefits for such a nasty sounding supplement.

This supplement is so effective because for people who either hate fish, or definitely do not eat enough of it, because by taking a pill a day they are increasing their consumption of heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids. Still think it sounds fishy? I did too. I wondered exactly where they were extracting this miracle oil from the fish's bodies. Thankfully, they're harvested only from the fishes' bodies - not the organs, where pollutants are stored. And fish oil supplements are purified to remove harmful compounds. This purification process also keeps stinky fish reeking burps at bay.

For so many people, especially college students, capsules are simply more convenient to consume. Since these oils have to be supplemented through food or pills, if you are not eating fish regularly or taking supplements then your body will not be receiving any of these important oils.

Taking GNC's Triple Strength Fish Oil, only one pill a day, will give you the complete daily amount of recommended Omega-3 fatty acids . With so many benefits it is hard to say no to the "one cure-all pill," that some nutritionists say is just as important as taking a daily multivitamin. Once again GNC Cherrydale is going the extra mile to make this important supplement a part of your diet so if you bring this article in you will receive twenty-percent off a bottle of GNC's Triple Strength Fish Oil.
