On April 10, the Lady Crusaders left to face Brevard in a doubleheader. North Greenville won both games, 2-1 and 3-2. In the first game, NGU came out strong in the first two innings. Kayla Farmer, sophomore undecided, hit a double to bring in Shin, leaving North Greenville with a 1-0 lead. In the second inning, Katie Eargle, senior interdisciplinary studies, and Shealy Broome, sophomore undecided, walked, and then Shin hit a double to bring in another run, leaving the score at 2-0 going into the third inning. The Brevard Tornadoes came back with a single run in the bottom of the third inning, but the Crusaders held on during the final four innings for the 2-1 win.
Kristyn Smith, freshman undecided, was credited with the win, allowing only one run on five hits over seven innings. Shin and Farmer led North Greenville at the plate; Shin went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run, and Farmer came out 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
In the second game doubleheader, the Lady Crusaders scored in each of the first three innings. In the first inning, L. Eargle hit a single, and then Bailey doubled to move L. Eargle to third base.
