With the regular season over, the men and women's tennis teams are looking forward to the NCCAA National Tennis Tournament. Both teams are hoping to make up for sub-par performances during the regular season, as the men finished 2-12, and the women finished 4-9.

The men's team finished with a three-match skid and was shut out in two of those defeats. Before that, the Crusaders dismantled Emmanuel College in a shut out 9-0 on April 1.

After winning back-to-back matches at the end of March, the women's team closed the season by dropping their last four matches.

The postseason is an opportunity to start fresh. The men are searching for an unprecedented seventh consecutive NCCAA title.

Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Ind., will host this year's tournament. The eight-team tournament will run May 5-8.

"We will know who we play in the next week or so," said Juan Carlos Aguilera, junior undecided.

The teams will practice as usual to prepare for the tournament.

All the scheduled matches will be posted on thenccaa.org.
